Safely Navigating the Leisure Trails in Sea Pines

The leisure trails in Sea Pines are shared by joggers, bikers, and walkers. Below are five important leisure trail rule reminders to ensure everyone can enjoy the trails safely:

  • Stay in single file on the right side of the trail.
  • Pedestrians have the right of way on trails. To pass walkers on a bicycle, announce “Passing on left”. Pedestrians should keep the volume of their listening devices low enough to hear approaching bicyclists.
  • Be aware: Vehicles are not required to stop while you are waiting to cross a roadway. Be sure to stop at every leisure trail stop sign.
  • Maintain a safe speed. No motorized vehicles on trails (includes e-bikes & scooters).
  • Use of roadway, where leisure trail exists, is prohibited.
