Recovery Update Following Tropical Storm Helene 9.27.24 @ 4:00 PM

Sea Pines CSA teams are in full storm recovery and restoration mode. Crews and contracted service providers are working throughout the community to facilitate storm clean-up efforts, which will continue through the weekend.
Sea Pines CSA Operation Updates:

  • The Sea Pines CSA Administration office, Sea Pines Community Center and Sea Pines ARB office are closed today, September 27th.
  • The Sea Pines Guest Pass office and Security Dispatch office (843-671-7170) are operating under normal business hours.
  • Access to the Sea Pines Forest Preserve (walking and driving entrances) and Six Oaks Cemetery remain closed until clean up efforts can be completed.
  • Tower Beach and its facilities remain closed until further notice.
  • Beachwalks #11, #12,#18, #20, #21 and #13, #14 at Tower Beach are currently closed due to significant beach erosion.
  • Due to clean-up efforts throughout the community, Commercial Landscaping Companies will be permitted in Sea Pines on Sunday, September 29th from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
  • Commercial landscape companies are directed to transport debris to the Debris Recycling Facility which will be operating this weekend during the below hours:
    • Saturday, September 28: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
    • Sunday, September 29: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Important Reminders:

  • Please use caution and drive slowly throughout the community as our crews are working in and along the roadways.
  • Use extreme caution or avoid using the leisure trails and beach paths until cleanup efforts can be completed.
  • Wildlife, such as alligators and snakes, are more likely to be displaced and seen during and after a storm. Be aware, keep pets on a leash at all times, and give all wild animals space. To report a wildlife concern, please contact the Sea Pines Security at 843.671.7170.

Debris Piles and Debris Collection Reminders:

Due to the amount of debris and cleanup, there will be service delays for SPCSA neighborhood debris collection.

  • Vegetative Storm Debris should be stacked at designated SPCSA neighborhood debris pickup sites. Sea Pines CSA can only remove debris from designated SPCSA pickup sites.
  • If the debris site is full, do not block roads, driveways, or create traffic visibility hazards. Do NOT place trash in debris pickup piles.
  • DO NOT pile any storm debris in roadside ditches, block the pipe ends with debris in ditches, or stack on catch basins/inlets.
  • Commercial landscapers are NOT permitted to dump landscaping debris in the neighborhood drop sites or roadside within Sea Pines.
  • Landscape companies are directed to transport debris to the Debris Recycling Facility. Please note: This facility does not have the ability to process material in a diameter of 6 inches and above.
