Sea Pines CSA crews and contracted service providers (pictured below) continue to assess and restore our roads, leisure trails, beachwalks, and SPCSA-managed open spaces that were impacted by Tropical Storm Helene.
Sea Pines CSA Operation Updates:
Sea Pines daily visitor gate pass sales resumed as of 11:00 AM today, September 27th,
The Sea Pines CSA Administration office, Sea Pines Community Center and Sea Pines ARB office will remain closed for the remainder of the day.
The Sea Pines Guest Pass office and Security Dispatch office (843-671-7170) are operating under normal business hours.
Access to the Sea Pines Forest Preserve, Six Oaks Cemetery, and Tower Beach remain closed and will reopen once conditions permit.
Due to the amount of debris and cleanup, there will be service delays for SPCSA neighborhood debris collection.
Important Reminders:
If you must travel, please use caution and drive slowly throughout the community as our crews are working in and along the roadways.
Use extreme caution or avoid using the leisure trails and beach paths until cleanup efforts can be completed.
Wildlife, such as alligators and snakes, are more likely to be displaced and seen during and after a storm. Be aware, keep pets on a leash at all times, and give all wild animals space. To report a wildlife concern, please contact the Sea Pines Security at 843.671.7170.
Beachwalks & Beach Erosion:
We urge the community to exercise extreme caution while walking along the beachwalks as the recent high tides have resulted in significant beach erosion.
Beachwalks #11, #12,#18, #20, #21 and #13, #14 at Tower Beach (pictured) are currently closed.
Our staff will continue conducting thorough inspections of all beachwalks and closures for repairs will be made as necessary.
Debris Piles and Debris Collection Reminders:
Vegetative Storm Debris should be stacked at designated SPCSA neighborhood debris pickup sites. Sea Pines CSA will only remove debris from designated SPCSA pickup sites.
If the debris site is full, do not block roads, driveways, or create traffic visibility hazards. Do NOT place trash in debris pickup piles.
DO NOT pile any storm debris in roadside ditches, block the pipe ends with debris in ditches, or stack on catch basins/inlets.
Commercial landscapers are NOT permitted to dump landscaping debris in the neighborhood drop sites or roadside within Sea Pines.
Landscape companies are directed to transport debris to the Debris Recycling Facility. Please note: This facility does not have the ability to process material in a diameter of 6 inches and above.
