Sea Pines CSA crews and contracted service providers continue clean-up efforts throughout the community following heavier-than-expected rains from a passing Nor’easter which collided with high tides yesterday, December 17th.
We appreciate your patience as we continue to assess and restore our roads, leisure trails, beachwalks, and CSA-managed open spaces that were affected by the storm. Below are some important service updates and reminders regarding our recovery efforts:
- Sea Pines CSA’s Response Team mobilized before the arrival of the storm and immediately began working to ensure that Sea Pines CSA managed drains and outfalls were cleared.
- Since the storm, Sea Pines CSA Staff and our contracted service provider, BrightView have been working to address storm-related concerns.
- While we continue clean-up efforts, we ask that you please use caution in and around the community while using roadways, leisure trails, beachwalks and common areas.
Beachwalks & Beach Erosion:
- We urge the community to exercise extreme caution while walking along the beachwalks as the recent high tides have resulted in significant beach erosion.
- Our staff will continue conducting thorough inspections of all beachwalks and repairs are being made as necessary.
- Beachwalks #11 and #13,#14 at Tower Beach are currently closed.
