Sea Pines CSA Class “A” Board of Director Election Results

“Class A” Board Candidate and Vote Count:

  • David Ellis – 1,854
  • LeeAnn Leahy – 1,817
  • David Pardue – 1,688
  • Ted Leavitt – 1,505
  • Bob Quinn-1,349

The Three “Class A” Candidates Elected to the Sea Pines CSA Board of Directors: 

  • David Ellis, LeeAnn Leahy, David Pardue
  • Terms: Three-year term will begin on January 1, 2023- December 31, 2025
Congratulations are extended to the newly elected directors of the Sea Pines CSA Class “A” Board of Directors. Thank you to all the candidates that participated in this year’s election as well as all of those property owners who cast their vote. 

Board of Director Elections: Three “Class A” Residential Directors Board seats and One “Class B” Commercial Director Board seat will become available on January 1st, 2023.

 Important Election Dates

  • August 1, 2022: CSA Board of Directors application deadline
  • August 2022: Candidate interviews
  • August 31, 2022: CSA candidates announced
  • October 1, 2022: CSA Applications by Petition deadline & Election Date of Record
  • November 1, 2022: CSA Board of Director Election Ballots Sent to CSA Members
  • December 1, 2022: Ballots must be received by 11:59 PM EST, December 1, 2022

Candidate By Petition

In addition to those nominated by the Class “A” Residential Nominating Committee of CSA, persons may be nominated by petition.

The following requirements of the petition process are:

  1. For CSA- Petition to be signed by 50 valid residential property owners in good standing.
  2. The candidate has to be willing and able to serve.
  3. CSA By-laws require the petition to reach said Nominating Committee by October 1st, 2022.

Sea Pines CSA Meet the Candidates Virtual Event Held 

This virtual event was broadcast via Youtube on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, from 10:00-11:00 AM. During the live broadcast, we heard from each of the Sea Pines CSA Class “A” Board of Director candidates. Click here to view the meeting video.


Sea Pines CSA Class “A” Board of Director Ballot Information

Each residential property in good standing with Sea Pines CSA as of October 1, 2022, (date of record), will receive a CSA Ballot (one for each property owned in Sea Pines). Unique voting codes will be assigned by Vote-Now.com LLC, our 3rd Party independent elections administrator. Members will have the opportunity to cast their votes either online or by completing a mailed ballot. Only one form of voting will be counted.

Sea Pines CSA Class “A” Residential Director Election voting period will be open from 12:00 AM November 1, 2022- 11:59 PM on December 1, 2022. Ballots must be received by 11:59 PM EST on December 1, 2022, to be counted.

VOTE ONLINE: Voting invitation emails were sent Tuesday, November 1, 2022, to the primary email on file with Sea Pines CSA from the email address elections@vote-now.com. Please be sure to check your junk and spam folders for this email invite. If you did not receive your ballot invitation email please contact Vote-now.com LLC by email at support@vote-now.com or connect with live chat during business hours here: https://vtnw.com/chat/ for assistance.

VOTE BY MAIL: Ballots were mailed out Tuesday, November 1, 2022, to the primary notice of mailing on file with Sea Pines CSA for each residential property in good standing with CSA as of October 1st, 2022, date of record. Please allow 3-5 days for mailed ballot delivery via the USPS. If you choose to vote by mail, please complete, apply postage and return the paper ballot in the envelope provided, to Vote-now.com LLC (our 3rd party Elections Administrator) at:
