Board of Directors Election Information
Three (3) Class “A” Residential Director Board seats and One (1) Class “B” Commercial Director Board seat will become available on January 1, 2026.
Important Election Dates
- August 1, 2025: Board of Directors Candidate by Application Deadline
- Early August 2025: Candidate Interviews via Zoom
- August 28, 2025: Candidates by Application Announced
- October 1, 2025: Election Date of Record
- October 1, 2025: Applications by Petition Deadline
- November 3, 2025: Election Ballots to be Sent to Members in Good Standing as of Election Date of Record
- December 1, 2025: Ballots must be received by 11:59 PM EST

Candidate Resources
Sea Pines CSA is the only governing body established exclusively for the mutual benefit of ALL the owners of real property within Sea Pines.
About the Board of Directors: The seventeen (17) unpaid volunteer members of the CSA Board of Directors consist of nine (9) Residential Directors, four (4) Commercial Directors, and four (4) Resort Directors. Board Members are required by statute under the SC Non-Profit Act, Sea Pines CSA Articles of Incorporation, and the Sea Pines CSA Bylaws to make decisions for the overall mutual benefit of Sea Pines, which can best be referred to as “the common good”.
Board Director Service Time Commitment:Approximately 5 to 10 hours each month. Please note that officer positions will demand a greater time investment.
Eligibility: Each Director must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and be a Sea Pines CSA Member in good standing. However, the spouse of a Sea Pines CSA Member may be a Director, and if the Sea Pines CSA Member is a legal entity (e.g., corporation, trust), that Sea Pines CSA Member may designate an individual to serve on its behalf as a Director.
Residential Directors Term Limits: The term of a newly elected Residential Director will be three (3) years. If a Residential Director serves two (2) consecutive full terms, that Director shall not be eligible for election to the Board of Directors for one (1) calendar year.
