The pathway along Pope Avenue from Nassau Street to Coligny Circle adjacent to the Coligny Beach parking lot will be closed for several months, starting Thursday, January 10^th.

During this time, the bridge on the pathway will be removed for construction of the Coligny roadway projects. Pathway users will need to share the road in this location or may use the pathway on the opposite side of Pope Avenue by crossing at the Coligny Circle crosswalk or at the Cordillo Parkway signalized crosswalk.

In addition, there will be temporary daytime closures on the eastbound lanes of Pope Avenue near the intersection of Lagoon Road from January 10^th through Saturday, January 19^th, weather permitting, for tree removal and storm drainage infrastructure work. At least one lane of traffic will remain open at all times.

Work being done in this area is part of the Coligny Area Roadways Improvement Project. Motorists and pathway users should use extra caution when approaching the work zone.
