SPCSA Community Update 11.14.24

Thanksgiving Holiday Office Hours for the Sea Pines CSA Admin Office, Maintenance Office, ARB & Sea Pines Community Center:

  • Wednesday, November 27: Closing at Noon
  • Thursday, November 28: Closed
  • Friday, November 29: Closed

All other Sea Pines CSA offices will remain open under normal hours of operation.

Commercial Vendor Holiday Access Restriction: Vehicles with commercial decals or commercial passes are not permitted in Sea Pines on Thanksgiving Day (11/28) or the Day After Thanksgiving (11/29). For emergency access for service providers, please contact Sea Pines Security at 843.671.7170.


Sea Pines Trolley November Holiday Schedule

The Red Route (from the Greenwood Drive Trolley Stop to Harbour Town) will run on Friday, November 29th from 4:00-10:00 PM.

Sea Pines CSA Board of Director Ballot Information

Vote-Now.com LLC, the independent elections administrator for Sea Pines CSA, offers the convenience of online voting. Board of Director Election Ballots were provided to members in good standing as of the October 1, 2024, date of record. On Friday, November 1, election ballots were sent from the email address elections@vote-now.com to the primary contact email on file with Sea Pines CSA. Paper ballots were mailed only to those primary contacts without an email address on record. All ballots must be received by 11:59 PM on December 1, 2024, to be counted.

Sea Pines CSA Board of Directors Meeting Reminder
The next Board of Directors meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at 10:00 AM and will be live-streamed via YouTube at seapinesliving.com/live. The agenda will be posted closer to the meeting date at seapinesliving.com/boardmeetings. Sea Pines CSA Committee Member Applications
Are you a Sea Pines property owner interested in becoming more involved in the community? If so, we encourage you to apply for membership in a Sea Pines CSA Committee. Click here to view the application. Completed committee member applications should be emailed to Sandra Archer at sandra@csaseapines.com or delivered to the Sea Pines CSA Administration office at 175 Greenwood Drive by December 1, 2024.

Critical Infrastructure Improvement Projects

Sea Pines Drive Infrastructure Improvement Project: South Sea Pines Drive from Merganser Court to the end of South Sea Pines Drive (stopping at the entrance of Lands End).

  • Major stormwater drainage and roadway work is in progress (pictured) and will continue for the next few months.
  • Single-lane road closures and flagging operations will be in place daily. Motorists should expect traffic delays and possible traffic detours.
  • Leisure trails in the project area will be closed as needed. For safety, cyclists will be required to dismount and walk bikes around the active work zones. Motorists should be prepared to share the Road with bikers and pedestrians.

Lighthouse Lane Infrastructure Improvement Project: Lighthouse Lane from Lighthouse Road to Mizzenmast Lane.

  • Curb and sidewalk restoration is in progress (pictured).
  • Single-lane road closures continue to be in place. Motorists should expect traffic delays Monday-Friday.

Maintenance Projects & Services

Roadside Maintenance: Roadside mulching along Plantation Drive (pictured), starting at Greenwood Drive and working towards Lighthouse Road is in progress.

Roadway Asphalt Repairs on Pine Island Court, at the corner of Red Maple Road and Greenwood Drive, and along Mizzenmast Lane will begin next week.

Stormwater Maintenance: Ditch resloping on Greenwood Drive between the SPCSA Administration Office and the Lake Forest area is in progress and will continue through next week.


2024 Sea Pines CSA Rental Registration Fee Payment Reminder
On October 30, 2024, Rental Registration Fee Statements were sent to residential property owners who had an outstanding balance on their account. These statements were sent to the primary email address on record from the following email address: csaassessmentbilling@csaseapines.com. In the case of property owners who do not have an email address on file, the statements were mailed via USPS.

To avoid potential late fees and interest charges, please promptly remit your payment. For billing questions, please contact Tracey McNeill at traceym@csaseapines.com.


Explore Your Forest Preserve: Beginner Bird Walks

Friday, November 15th from 8:00-10:00 AM: Join Master Naturalists Mary Ellen Blankenship and Bob Speare for a two-hour walk through the Forest Preserve to see, hear, and learn about some of the birds who call this amazing habitat their home. This event is free, but you must register HERE for a ticket. There is a limit of 24 people per bird walk.

The 13th Annual Sea Pines Forest Preserve Bonfire Event was held on Friday, November 8th. The night was perfect for enjoying the fabulous food, entertainment and fellowship at Fish Island in the Sea Pines Forest Preserve. Thanks to all who attended and supported our Forest Preserve fundraiser with their presence.

We also want to thank those who contributed silent auction items and a thank you and congratulations to our silent auction winners.
