Memorial Dedication Ceremony to Honor Charlie Miner

Sea Pines CSA invites you to attend a memorial dedication ceremony honoring the late Charles “Charlie” Miner and his distinguished service to The Sea Pines Forest Preserve.

Date: Wednesday, September 10, 2025

Time: 10:00 AM

Location: The Sea Pines Forest Preserve

Lake Joe Trailhead located near Fish Island (VIEW MAP)

The ceremony will include a memorial tribute and the unveiling of the memorial bench and dedication signage recognizing Mr. Miner’s commitment to preserving our community’s natural treasure.


Critical Infrastructure Project Updates

Two major critical infrastructure projects began stormwater construction this week. Both projects involve heavy construction equipment, temporary lane closures, and potential utility disruptions during work hours (M-F; 7AM-7PM). Please do not remove any staking or utility markings you may see in either project area.

Reminder: 2025 Sea Pines CSA Annual Rental Registration Fee

The 2025 Annual Rental Registration Fee was invoiced on May 21, 2025, to Sea Pines Residential Property Owners registered with the Rental Registration Program, or those whose property is advertised online as being available for rent. Full payment of this fee was due July 1, 2025. We extend our sincere appreciation to all property owners who have made their payments on time.

On August 29, 2025, Rental Registration Fee Statements were sent to property owners who had an outstanding balance on their account. These statements were sent to the primary email address on record from csaassessmentbilling@csaseapines.com. In the case of property owners who do not have an email address on file, the statements were mailed via USPS.

Maintenance Projects & Services

Tree Maintenance: There is a dead tree at the intersection of Greenwood Drive and Club Course Drive that will be removed early next week. During this project work, there will be intermittent traffic delays, single-lane closures, and flagging operations in place.

Seasonal Mosquito Control Program: Weather permitting, our next mosquito treatment will take place on Monday, September 8, during overnight hours. For more information on this service please click here.

Stormwater Response: Sea Pines CSA crews continue to respond to stormwater maintenance requests throughout the community following nearly 30 inches of rainfall that occurred this month.

Town of Hilton Head Island Animal Beach Visiting Hours Reminder

Tuesday after Labor Day thru September: 

  • Dogs allowed on leash from 10 AM – 5 PM
  • Dogs allowed under positive voice control or on leash from 5 PM – 10 AM

October thru March: Dogs allowed anytime on leash or under positive voice control.

Enforcement: The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Department and Town code enforcement officers patrol the beach and enforce all beach regulations. For more information view the Municipal Code Title 8 Chapter 1 – “Beaches”.
