Critical Infrastructure Projects to Begin Early Fall 2025

Two major critical infrastructure projects are scheduled to begin this fall to improve our community’s stormwater drainage systems, roadways, and overall safety.

  • Otter Road/Fawn Lane Infrastructure Improvement Project: Tree work begins the week of August 4th, followed by surveying and mobilization starting August 11th. Major stormwater drainage work will begin in early September. This project is vital for repairing and improving the stormwater drainage system, as well as the roadway conditions along Otter Road and Fawn Lane. For project details, visit seapinesliving.com/otterroad.
  • Phase 3 of the Lighthouse Lane Infrastructure Improvement Project: Surveying and underground utility locate markers will begin in mid-August with project mobilization following in late August. Major construction will begin in early September 2025, and continue through early spring 2026. This important work will upgrade stormwater drainage, sidewalks, and roadways along Lighthouse Lane (from Mizzenmast Ln to 47 Lighthouse Ln), Mizzenmast Lane (from Lighthouse Ln to Windjammer Ct), and Spinnaker Court. For project details, visit seapinesliving.com/lighthouselane.

Both projects will involve heavy construction equipment, temporary lane closures, and potential utility disruptions during work hours. Please do not remove any staking or utility markings you may see in either project area. Please visit the project websites for detailed maps, traffic management information, and ongoing updates. Comments or questions for our Capital Projects Department may be submitted online here.
