• March 30, 2021: The Sea Pines CSA Board of Directors, based on the joint ASPPPO-CSA Land Use Management Committee’s recommendation, adopted the Land Use Rules and Regulations during their Board meeting.
• July 1, 2021: The Land Use Rules and Regulations went into effect. The purpose of the Land Use Rules and Regulations is to promote aesthetic excellence of all Residential Property within Sea Pines, to encourage mutual respect among all Residential Property Owners and Tenants, and to foster standards which will maintain Sea Pines as the premier community on Hilton Head Island.
• April 2023: The Land Use Management Department’s name was changed to the Community Standards Department. The updated department name more accurately reflects the department’s role of ensuring residential properties in Sea Pines adhere to applicable land use community property standards and restrictive covenants.
• November, 14, 2023: The Sea Pines CSA Board of Directors approved an amendment to the Sea Pines CSA Community Standards Rules and Regulations (formally known as the Land Use Rules and Regulations), which was recommended by the Community Infrastructure Maintenance and Standards Committee.
