New Signage Leading to the Greenwood Gate

Installation of enhanced directional signage leading to the Greenwood Gate began this week (pictured). The new signage initiative, spearheaded by the Sea Pines CSA Board Traffic Task Force, features taller and wider signs with a brighter appearance than previous signage, designed specifically to improve visibility and reduce confusion for drivers approaching the gates.

The Traffic Task Force identified poor signage visibility as one of the contributors to traffic bottlenecks and turnarounds at the gate, particularly during busy periods when unfamiliar visitors might hesitate or make last-minute lane changes. The enhanced directional signage, with its improved size and brighter look, aims to create a smoother experience for all drivers coming into Sea Pines.
