Landscaping Enhancements on Greenwood Drive

Sea Pines CSA’s contractor, BrightView, will be enhancing the landscaping along the medians on Greenwood Drive between the Sea Pines Circle and the Greenwood Gate. Project work is scheduled to begin Wednesday, February 18, and continue through Friday, February 20 (weather permitting). Some minor work may carry into the following week.

To allow BrightView’s crew to work efficiently and safely, one inbound lane will be closed from approximately 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Wednesday-Friday. Significant traffic delays are not anticipated, though motorists may experience minor disruptions and should use caution while driving in the area.

Maintenance Projects & Services

  • Annual tree trimming along Sea Pines CSA-managed Beachwalks is in progress (pictured). Our tree contractors will be on the lookout for dead or low-hanging branches, trees that require pruning, and will also assess the overall health of the trees along the beachwalks. While the beachwalks will stay open, we kindly ask pedestrians and cyclists to exercise caution and pay close attention to the flagmen present on-site.
  • Leisure trail tree trimming is underway along Lighthouse Road.
  • Lagoon tree trimming continues in the areas of Tupelo Road and Hilton Head Prep.
  • Stormwater Maintenance & Repair: A stormwater point repair on Beachwalk #44 is in progress. Next week, crews will begin regrading a swale near 67 North Calibogue Cay.

What Can I Place in Sea Pines CSA Debris Pickup Piles?

This weekly sustainability service is available to property owners and includes the collection of “green material,” from CSA Neighborhood Debris Pickup sites, which consists of:

  • Yard trimmings
  • Leaves
  • Palm fronds
  • Small limbs (not exceeding 6” in diameter)
  • NOTE: Debris left at pickup locations should not be bagged. Other debris will not be collected (flower pots, tree stumps, waste, metal, plastic or concrete).

Sea Pines CSA processes the “green material” at our Recycling Debris Facility. The “green material” is processed into mulch and provided free of charge to property owners, upon request. As a reminder, landscape and lawn service contractors are not permitted to leave debris collected from within Sea Pines at these locations.
