Sea Pines CSA Boardwalk #44, Located Between Green Heron Road and Wood Ibis Road, To Be Replaced

Sea Pines CSA Boardwalk #44 has exceeded its useful life and must be replaced. Next week, Sea Pines CSA contractors will begin replacement and construction work on Boardwalk #44. The boardwalk will also be extended over the dune to aid in the protection and allow the dune to continue to build.Work will take approximately 2 to 3 weeks, weather permitting. The beach boardwalk access will be closed to all pedestrian traffic during this time.

4/28/22 Update – Sea Pines CSA Boardwalk #44 Closed for Reconstruction

This week, Sea Pines CSA contractors will begin replacement and construction work on Boardwalk #44, located Between Green Heron Road and Wood Ibis Road. The boardwalk will also be extended over the dune to aid in the protection and allow the dune to continue to build.

Work will take approximately 2 more weeks, weather permitting. The beach boardwalk access will be closed to all pedestrian traffic during this time.

5/5/22 Update – Sea Pines CSA Boardwalk #44 Reconstruction Nearing Completion

Replacement and construction work on Boardwalk #44, located between Green Heron Road and Wood Ibis Road is expected to be completed by the end of the week. The boardwalk has also been extended over the dune to aid in the protection and allow the dune to continue to build.
