Memorial Day Weekend Reminders from The Sea Pines Security Department

Overflow Beach Parking At Hilton Head Prep
Effective Saturday, May 29th, if the Plantation Club overflow parking lot reaches capacity, then the Hilton Head Prep parking lot will be opened as an additional overflow parking location to Sea Pines property owners and their accompanied guests only. Click here to view The Sea Pines Resort’s Beach Parking Plan for the Sea Pines Beach Club and Plantation Golf Club, as well as an FAQ (Click here).

Beach Shuttle Service
The beach shuttle service is available from Lot 8 (Located off of Greenwood Drive between Fraser Circle and Willow Oak Road West) with drop-off service to The Sea Pines Beach Club and will operate through September 6 (Labor Day) from 9 AM- 5 PM, seven days a week, weather permitting and is available to:

  • Sea Pines property owners
  • Sea Pines property owners personal guests and family members
  • Sea Pines weekly rental pass guest
  • Long term renters and their personal guests

As a reminder, there is no public beach access parking in Sea Pines for daily pass purchasers. 


Hilton Head Island Beach Law Reminders
  • No alcohol (liquor), beer or wine.
  • No dogs or other animals are allowed on the beach between 10 am & 5 pm, starting the Friday before Memorial Day (5/28) thru Labor Day (9/6).
  • No shovels made of materials other than wood and/or plastic; the shovels must be less than 30”(L) and 6”(W).
  • No holes greater than 12” deep. Please fill in holes before you leave. This helps protect our beach visitors from getting injured if they step in a hole and our sea turtles from getting trapped or injured if they fall in a hole.
  • No tents, towels, chairs, coolers or other personal belongings should be left overnight.

Sea Pines Red Route Trolley Service Update
The Red Route will operate with the following service times:

  • Friday, May 28th – Sunday, June 6th from 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM
