5/29/25-
Stamped crosswalks at intersections along the the new Club Course Drive leisure trail were completed today. Site restoration is in progress and will continue through next week.
What’s next? Crews will return after the necessary curing period to complete permanent line striping along Club Course Drive from Governors Road to Greenwood Drive.
5/22/25 –
Club Course Drive before roadway and leisure trail project work began

New leisure trail and curb installation on Club Course Drive
The new leisure trail, stretching along Club Course Drive from Governors Road to Ivy Road, leading to the Greenwood Gate is nearing completion. To view the project map click here.
Installation of detectable warning pavers is in progress. Crews will return late next week to install stamped crosswalks, weather permitting.
Milling and paving operations along Club Course Drive from Governors Road to Greenwood Drive were completed this week.
Crews will return after the necessary curing period to complete permanent line striping.
Traffic Notice: There will be single-lane road closures with flagging operations in place on Club Course Drive, from Greenwood Drive to Governors Road, as needed. Please be prepared for intermittent traffic delays.
5/15/25 Update- The construction of a new leisure trail on Club Course Drive, leading toward the Greenwood Gate began Tuesday, May 12. Project work is expected to take approximately 3 more weeks to complete and includes:
Leisure Trail Construction:
A new leisure trail being constructed in the Club Course area, stretching along Club Course Drive from Governors Road to Ivy Road, leading to the Greenwood Gate. View the project map here.
During project work, there will be single-lane road closures with flagging operations in place daily along the inbound lane on Club Course Drive, from Greenwood Drive to Governors Road.
Roadway Resurfacing:
The roadway will be resurfaced along Club Course Drive from Governors Road to Greenwood Drive. Please review the outbound lane traffic notice below:
Outbound Lane Closure Notice for Milling and Paving Operations:
Dates: Monday, May 19, and Tuesday, May 20, from approximately 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Outbound Lane Closure: Club Course Drive from Governors Road to Greenwood Drive
Traffic Detour: Outbound traffic on Club Course Drive will be redirected to turn right onto Governors Road and continue to the intersection of Governors Road and Greenwood Drive
Traffic Control:
Traffic control measures will be in place to assist you during this time. Be prepared for intermittent traffic delays, and if possible, please avoid the area.
For safety, cyclists must dismount and walk their bikes around active work zones.
Please drive safely and follow all posted signs and instructions from traffic personnel.
5/8/25 – The construction of the leisure trail on Club Course Drive toward the Greenwood Gate will begin the week of May 12th, weather permitting. Project work is expected to take approximately 3-4 weeks to complete and will include:
A newly constructed leisure trail in the Club Course area, stretching along Club Course Drive from Governors Road to Ivy Road leading to the Greenwood Gate.
Roadway resurfacing along Club Course Drive from Governors Road to Greenwood Drive. Please be prepared for single-lane closures, traffic detours, and intermittent traffic delays.

Survey work for future infrastructure leisure trail enhancements and safety improvements along Club Course Drive from Governors Road to Ivy Road began the week of December 18th. Weather permitting, survey work will take approximately 4 weeks to complete and will include:
