Tree Work Planned In Select CSA Managed Locations
- Tree work will occur on leisure trails and roadways in the Baynard Park and Old Military area next week, weather permitting. Intermittent closures on the leisure trails may be necessary.
- Tree removal will occur along Plantation Drive on February 5th-14th, weather permitting. This work includes the removal of select trees along this area that are in decline, affected by numerous weather events such as Hurricane Mathew and pose a safety risk. These trees were approved for removal by the Town of Hilton Head Island and CSA will be replanting new trees as part of our mitigation as budget allows. Intermittent closures on the roadway may be necessary to complete this work and flag persons will be present as needed to control traffic.
- Tree work will be ongoing next week along Greenwood Drive leisure trail between Greenwood Forest and Sea Pines Dr, weather permitting. Intermittent closures on the leisure trails may be necessary.
