Tuesday after Labor Day (9/7) thru September

• Dogs allowed on a leash from 10 AM – 5 PM
• Dogs allowed on a leash or under positive voice control from 5 PM – 10 AM

October thru March

• Dogs allowed anytime on a leash or under positive voice control

Additional Regulations

• Animal excrement must be removed and properly disposed of from the beach
• It is illegal to allow pets to chase or harass wildlife

Enforcement

The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Department and Town of Hilton Head Island code enforcement officers patrol the beach and enforce all beach regulations.
