Update on Jinks v. Sea Pines Resort, LLC, et al

As communicated on August 12, 2025, the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals upheld the validity of the 2020 Critical Infrastructure Referendum. This decision ratified the 2020 Critical Infrastructure Referendum and its assessment. Following that ruling, Ms. Jinks exercised her right to petition the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals for a rehearing within the thirty-day timeframe. During the September 16, 2025, Board Meeting, Sea Pines CSA received news that Ms. Jinks’ petition for a rehearing was denied. We will continue to keep the community informed of any further developments in this matter.
