Sea Pines CSA Annual Meeting Held May 6, 2025

The Annual Meeting took place on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, via live webinar. We extend our gratitude to all members who were able to participate in the live session. For those who could not attend, the meeting resources and video have been made available below:


Club Course Drive Leisure Trail Infrastructure Project

The construction of the new leisure trail on Club Course Drive toward the Greenwood Gate will begin the week of May 12th, weather permitting. Project work is expected to take approximately 3-4 weeks to complete and will include:

  • A newly constructed leisure trail in the Club Course area, stretching along Club Course Drive from Governors Road to Ivy Road leading to the Greenwood Gate. You can view the project map here.
  • Roadway resurfacing along Club Course Drive from Governors Road to Greenwood Drive. Please be prepared for single-lane closures, traffic detours, and intermittent traffic delays.

Lighthouse Lane Infrastructure Improvement Project

Phase 2 of the Lighthouse Lane Infrastructure Improvement Project began this week along the 18th Fairway of Harbour Town Golf Links (pictured). This project is vital for repairing and improving the stormwater drainage system, as well as the roadway conditions along Lighthouse Lane. Maintenance Projects & Services

  • Stormwater Management: Lagoon bank stabilization in the Live Oak area (pictured) is in progress and will continue over the next couple of weeks.
  • Roadway Repairs: Roadway asphalt repairs along Stoney Creek Road, Gull Point Road, Baynard Cove Road (near Red Oak Road), and Gunnery Lane will take place next week, weather permitting.
  • Camera Installation at the Greenwood Gate: A new camera is scheduled to be installed on the morning of Wednesday, May 14th. The work is anticipated to start between 8:00-10:00 AM and last for approximately 1 hour. During this time, outbound traffic will be restricted to one lane.

Pedestrian Safety Reminder: Walking on Roadways in Sea Pines

In Sea Pines, the use of roadway, where leisure trail exists, is prohibited. However, in areas without leisure trails, pedestrians are advised to walk as close to the outer edge of the roadway as possible, and on the left side to maintain a clear view of oncoming vehicles.

Six Oaks Cemetery Closed 5.9.25: Six Oaks Cemetery will be closed for tree maintenance on Friday, May 8, from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, weather permitting.

Explore Your Forest Preserve: Beginner Bird Walk; Friday, May 16, from 8:00-10:00 AM: Join Master Naturalists Mary Ellen Blankenship and Jack Coleman for a two-hour walk through the Forest Preserve to see, hear, and learn about some of the birds who call this amazing habitat their home. This event is free, but you must register HERE for a ticket. There is a limit of 24 people per bird walk.
