Beach Shuttle Service Begins March 21st

Beach shuttle service from Lot 8 (Located off Greenwood Drive near Willow Oak Road West) to The Sea Pines Beach Club will operate daily from 9 AM- 5 PM, weather permitting, during the below timeframes:

  • March 21 – April 12
  • April 20 – September 7

Critical Infrastructure Project Updates

Sea Pines Drive Roadway Repairs (rescheduled): Asphalt roadway repairs will now begin the week of March 9th on North Sea Pines Drive, near Lawton Road, and continue on to South Sea Pines Drive toward the entrance of Lands End. Work is scheduled to continue through Friday, March 6, with crews on-site from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, weather permitting.

Motorists should expect traffic delays, alternating single-lane closures, and possible detours throughout the duration of the project.

Otter Road/Fawn Lane Infrastructure Improvement Project:
  • Crews continue excavating and installing stormwater drainage pipes (pictured), with temporary asphalt patching underway in completed sections.
  • Traffic detours and flagging operations continue to be in place.

Maintenance Projects & Services

Roadside Maintenance: Greenwood Drive landscaping enhancements (pictured) will continue into next week working near Lot 1 and then progressing to the trolley lot entrance. Roadside mulching in select areas is also in progress.

Stormwater Maintenance & Repair: Next week, stormwater ditch regrading will begin at 62 Heritage Road and ditch cleanout will begin at 15 Audubon Pond Road.

Sea Pines Forest Preserve Party in the Pines Event

Deep Well Project Community Donation Event: Friday, March 13, from 9:00-11:00 AM at the Sea Pines Community Center Parking Lot (71 Lighthouse Road). Click here to view donation needs.

Daylight Saving Time Reminder: Daylight Saving Time begins on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at 2:00 AM. On Saturday night, set your clocks forward one hour (i.e., losing one hour) to “spring forward”. This is also a good time to check/change batteries in your smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, and weather radios.
