SPCSA 2.5.26 Community Update

Critical Infrastructure Project Updates
Isle of Pines Bridge Repairs: Minor infrastructure repairs will be made to the Isle of Pines Bridge (connecting Club Course Drive to Isle of Pines Road) beginning the week of February 9th. Project work is expected to take approximately one week to complete, weather permitting. We do not anticipate disruptions to vehicular or pedestrian traffic during this project, but ask that you please use caution while traveling through the work zone.
Lighthouse Lane Infrastructure Improvement Project: Due to the weather forecast, asphalt milling and paving operations for Spinnaker Court and Mizzenmast Lane (to the Windjammer Court intersection) have been rescheduled to begin the week of February 9th. Traffic control will be in place with possible detours.

Otter Road/Fawn Lane Infrastructure Improvement Project:
  • Stormwater drainage work continues with crews excavating and installing pipes (pictured). Temporary asphalt patching is underway in completed sections.
  • Traffic detours and flagging operations continue to be in place.
  • Stormwater ditch excavation and cleaning work (pictured) is in progress. Please click here to view the map.

Sea Pines Drive Roadway Repairs: Asphalt roadway repairs along North and South Sea Pines Drive are scheduled to begin the week of February 9th, weather permitting. Motorists should expect intermittent delays, single-lane closures, and possible traffic detours during this time.

Spring Community Shredding Event

Community Shredding Event: Monday, March 30, 2026, from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the Sea Pines Center Parking Lot at 71 Lighthouse Road. This event is open to all property owners on a first come, first-serve basis. Please review the following:

  • For safety, everyone needs to remain in their vehicles. Do not walk materials to the truck. There will be cones and signs set up for cars to follow to the truck.
  • Please pull up your vehicle in line to the truck and bins. CSA staff and/or attendant will move the materials for shredding into the bins.
  • Please be prepared with your documents ahead of time. Staples and paper clips may remain on your documents; the documents must be removed from binders.
  • Commercial quantities are prohibited.

Maintenance Projects & Services
  • Tree Care Management:
  • Annual tree trimming along Sea Pines CSA-managed Beachwalks, starting at #47 and working south, will begin the week of February 9th. Our tree contractors will be on the lookout for dead or low-hanging branches, trees that require pruning, and will also assess the overall health of the trees along the beachwalks. While the beachwalks will stay open, we kindly ask pedestrians and cyclists to exercise caution and pay close attention to the flagmen present on-site.
  • Leisure trail tree trimming is underway along Lighthouse Road and has reached Plantation Drive, now working towards Fraser Circle.
  • Lagoon tree trimming continues in the areas of Tupelo Road and Hilton Head Prep.
  • Stormwater Maintenance & Repair: A stormwater point repair on Beachwalk #44 is in progress and will continue through next week.
  • Roadside Maintenance & Asphalt Repairs: Crews are addressing miscellaneous work orders and completing asphalt repairs on roads and leisure trails at various locations throughout the community.

Our team focuses on communication and collaboration, not citations. When we identify a concern, we start with a conversation—explaining the issue, answering questions, and working with property owners to find solutions. We apply this approach consistently with all property owners, and everyone is given reasonable time to address concerns before any formal action is taken. Our goal is long-term compliance built on understanding, cooperation, and positive relationships.

Volunteer Opportunity: Join the Sea Pines Forest Preserve Auction Committee
The Sea Pines Forest Preserve Auction Committee is seeking volunteers to help with the annual Party in the Pines and Bonfire fundraisers. The committee meets just three to four times per year for planning, basket assembly, event setup, and celebrating their successes. Additional responsibilities include picking up donated auction items and making follow-up phone calls (no cold calling required).

If you’re a well-connected, energetic community member who’s passionate about preserving the natural beauty of Sea Pines, they would love to have you join! Interested in learning more?
