Sea Pines CSA and Town of Hilton Head Island Launch Stormwater Infrastructure Improvements

Sea Pines Community Services Associates (CSA), in partnership with the Town of Hilton Head Island, has initiated a new series of stormwater infrastructure improvements, beginning in the area surrounding the Sea Pines Country Club. This joint effort is part of a broader initiative to strengthen stormwater management within the Sea Pines community and the adjacent areas that make up the south end of Hilton Head Island.

Under the drainage agreement between CSA and the Town, most recently renewed in August 2022, corrective maintenance projects are eligible for funding through the Town’s Stormwater Utility. Over the coming months, six projects will replace eleven stormwater control gates to improve drainage capacity and overall system performance throughout the community. CSA will oversee project management to ensure efficient coordination, quality assurance, and timely completion. Upon completion, the Town will reimburse CSA for the full cost of the work.

CSA extends its sincere appreciation to the Town of Hilton Head Island—including the Mayor, Town Council, Town Manager Marc Orlando, and the Town’s dedicated staff—for their leadership in increasing funding levels in this year’s municipal budget.
