South Island Public Service District Potable Drinking Water Pipeline Upgrade Project

SIPSD, the utility company providing water and wastewater services in Sea Pines, has begun their major infrastructure upgrade and replacement project to their potable water drinking line from Dunnagans Alley to Baynard Park Road, inside of Sea Pines.

SIPSD has provided the following project update:

• SIPSD Water Line installation and boring lateral water lines to residential properties along Plantation Drive is in progress.
• Weather permitting, Wednesday and Thursday of next week, SIPSD will connect the new water line to the existing 8” water main near Greenwood Drive and Plantation Drive near Heritage Farms. Work will occur during overnight hours and will last approximately five hours each night.
• Traffic control will be provided. Please use caution while driving in this area.
