Sea Pines CSA Boardwalk #17 Closed For Replacement

Sea Pines CSA Boardwalk #17, located between Bald Eagle Road and Killdeer Lane has exceeded its useful life and must be replaced.

This week, Sea Pines CSA contractors began replacement and construction work on Boardwalk #17. The boardwalk will also be extended over the dune to aid in the protection and allow the dune to continue to build.

Work will take approximately 2 to 3 weeks, weather permitting. The beach boardwalk access will be closed to all pedestrian traffic during this time.

Replacement and re-construction work on Boardwalk #17 is currently underway. The boardwalk will also be extended over the dune to aid in the protection and allow the dune to continue to build.

Work will take approximately 2 more weeks to complete, weather permitting. The beach boardwalk access will be closed to all pedestrian traffic during this time.
