Forecasts indicate an increased likelihood of Tropical Storm Florence impacting the South Carolina Coast

As of this morning, forecasts indicate an increased likelihood of Tropical Storm Florence impacting the South Carolina Coast. The 11 a.m. advisory from the National Hurricane Center indicates the storm was located 835 miles southeast of Bermuda with winds of 65 miles per hour moving west at 7 miles per hour.
Governor Henry McMaster has declared a state of emergency ahead of Tropical Storm Florence. The executive order enables all state agencies to coordinate resources in preparation for the storm (click here for more information).
We urge Sea Pines property owners, guest and visitors to please make sure you have your hurricane plan in place and follow any advice given by local officials. Sea Pines CSA will continue to monitor the storm and provide additional information from trusted sources as it becomes available.
