| Phase 5 of the Sea Pine Drive Infrastructure Improvement Project and Phase 1 of the Lighthouse Lane Infrastructure Improvement Project are scheduled to begin early fall of 2024. These projects are vital for repairing and improving the stormwater drainage systems, as well as our roadway and leisure trail conditions.
The photos below document the existing conditions of the stormwater drainage system in the Lighthouse Lane Infrastructure Improvement project area. The stormwater drainage system structures are not adequately functioning and the corrugated metal piping under the roadways, which are estimated to be more than 60 years old, have deteriorated over time. Because of the current state of the drainage pipes, stormwater maintenance (such as removing the buildup of sediment and debris) cannot be performed. |
