| Dear Sea Pines Property Owner,
In today’s world, safety is more important than ever and being prepared is essential to ensuring a secure and enjoyable experience. That’s especially true when it comes to large-scale events like the RBC Heritage. The 58th annual event is expected to welcome 120,000 visitors from all over the world to enjoy the Sea Pines Resort and Hilton Head Island.
RBC Heritage Presented by Boeing is always a celebration of community. It’s a generosity-fueled festival of friends and family, golf fans and players, visitors and neighbors. Each year, we celebrate our shared connections, and as a signature event, we are making an even bigger impact on our community. The RBC Heritage packs a major economic punch, generating $134.9 million each year for the Palmetto State while having contributed $59.5 million to charities across South Carolina since 1987.
The support we receive from Sea Pines property owners is important to the Heritage Classic Foundation. We are thankful for the opportunity to share your beautiful community with the golf world.
You may remember, in preparation for the 2025 RBC Heritage, fencing was installed along much of the perimeter of the Harbour town Golf Links. In order to continue to enhance security, that same four-foot fencing will again be installed in 2026 but will now cover the course’s entire footprint. There will be 14 entrances around the golf course, the most on the PGA TOUR, offering convenient access and quick entrance into the event.
The increased fencing comes recommended by the PGA TOUR as a proactive step toward enhancing safety and crowd management during the event. This safety measure is strongly supported by Sea Pines Security, the law enforcement community, and The Sea Pines Resort.
We look forward to seeing you at the RBC Heritage Presented by Boeing, April 13-19. From the ceremonious opening boom of the classic cannon to the champion-winning putt in the final round, everyone’s teed up for a legendary time. Please call our office at 843.671.2448 if you have any questions or visit RBCHeritage.com.
Sincerely,
Steve Wilmot
