I am writing with an update regarding the lawsuit filed by a Sea Pines property owner seeking access to the 2018 Amendment to Gate Pass Agreement. The Court recently issued a ruling in favor of the property owner, and while the agreement is typically filed with the Court, I wanted to share it with you directly.

It is important to highlight that several current Sea Pines CSA Board members, myself included, were not serving on the Board when this matter initially arose. Therefore, I will not attempt to provide explanations for the actions taken by the previous Board.

Additionally, I want to emphasize Sea Pines CSA’s ongoing commitment to protecting our members’ privacy and information. As we proceed through the Court ruling, our priority is to ensure that you remain informed and confident in our efforts to protect your privacy and maintain transparency. We are committed to keeping our members informed and are dedicated to sharing information whenever possible, provided it does not compromise the privacy or confidentiality of our employees, contractors or vendors. Sea Pines CSA will update and share our Release of Records Policy in the first quarter of the new year.
