A Letter From Mark Griffith, CSA Board Chairman

July 24, 2019
Dear Sea Pines Property Owners,
I write to you on behalf of the CSA Board of Directors with an update following the results of the Sea Pines Critical Needs Referendum. Let me start by saying, that I and the entire CSA Board of Directors, would personally like to thank each and every one of you who participated in the recent referendum process.
Nearly 80% of ballots mailed were returned to Elliott Davis LLC. for counting, this is our highest return rate and engagement from our owners in CSA’s history. Of those ballots returned, the vast majority of you, 3,039 or 72.12%, support CSA’s referendum proposal to raise the funding we need to properly maintain and care for our aging community. We hear you and we need your continued support!
Your CSA Board has been considering many alternative options for raising the necessary funding that we still need. Yesterday, your CSA Board held a workshop to continue and fine tune the plan and we will present that plan to the community in a Special Board meeting planned for August 13 at 3 PM.
Your CSA Board has a responsibility to you and to the entire Sea Pines Community to ensure we can fund our critical community needs. We appreciate your support.
Thanks again,
Mark A. Griffith
CSA Board Chairman
