Explore your Forest Preserve Series – A Glimpse into the Sea Pines Forest Preserve following Hurricane Matthew and Hurricane Irma

The Sea Pines Forest Preserve Board of Trustees and Advisory Committee invite you to attend our first event of our Explore your Forest Preserve Series on Thursday, June 14 from 3:30 pm-5:00 pm.

David Henderson, Director of Special Projects and Operations will take participants on a one and half mile walking tour to view the clean-up operations in the Sea Pines Forest Preserve following Hurricane Matthew and Hurricane Irma.

This exclusive complimentary event is open to the first 30 property owners who sign up via our Eventbrite ticket system. The walking tour will start from Fish Island located in the Sea Pines Forest Preserve. The tour will take place along walking trails in the Preserve so participants are asked wear appropriate clothing and footwear. Participants are encouraged to bring bug spray and any water they wish to have during the walk. Light refreshments will be provided at the conclusion of the event.
