Weather Alert from the National Weather Service Charleston Office: A stationary front meandering over the South Carolina Lowcountry and Southeast Georgia will continue to bring rounds of numerous to widespread showers and thunderstorms through Saturday night. Heavy rainfall on nearly saturated grounds will likely lead to scattered instances of flash flooding. 

Due to continued heavy rainfall, Sea Pines is experiencing significant stormwater challenges throughout the community.

Current Response Actions

• Sea Pines CSA Maintenance teams are currently on-site and actively addressing conditions and patrolling the community.
• Mechanical pumps are being deployed as necessary to assist with water removal.
• Crews are working diligently to address critical stormwater areas.

Important Reminders

• Avoid roadways when possible to allow maintenance crews safe working conditions.
• Exercise extreme caution if you must travel, as crews are working in and along roadways.
• Watch for standing water and do not attempt to drive through flooded areas.
