Class “B” Commercial Board Member

Rick Ray is a board member of Sea Pines Community Services Associates. Rick has had roles on other boards including Board Bitcentral, Imagicomm TV, Total Sports, Action Performance, Duke Mansion, Lee Leadership Institute, Community School of the Arts and YMCA Metropolitan. He is currently a Partner in NURAY Holdings and an Operating Partner in Virgo Investments.

With an education from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill and Harvard University, Rick specializes in investments, entertainment, technology and software. He found his skillset in television in 1971 when he began as a Production Assistant and Program Manager at WCCB-TV in Charlotte, North Carolina. Rick continued television at many other stations such as WCSC, WRAL and WCCB which gave him experience to create his own sports reports incorporation, be CEO of “Nightly Business Report” and work on Broadway plays. Rick’s niche talent has brought him many opportunities in the television networking business. Nonetheless, his community involvement is extended and diverse because of the different settings Rick worked in.
