The Lawton Canal Timber Bridge is past it’s life cycle and is in need of replacement.

CSA will begin construction on the Lawton Canal Timber Bridge the first week of January 2019 weather permitting.

We will be demolishing the existing bridge and constructing a new bridge over Lawton Canal in the same fashion as the Sea Pines Drive Timber Bridges.

The project will take approximately 6-8 weeks to complete. Working hours will be Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 6:00 pm.

During construction, bikes and pedestrians will be detoured onto the Lawton Canal Service Road Bridge.
