-Until the full project plan/ requirements for any beach/dune renourishment project are determined it is important that ALL beachfront property owners make only temporary repairs to restore safe access to the beach from their private property due to the many unknowns of specifics, scope and timing of dune restoration projects along the beach in Sea Pines.

-The Sea Pines Forest Preserve Foundation Beach Trust Policy states that if boardwalks are destroyed or deemed to be a safety hazard, the structure shall not be rebuilt without the Foundation’s advance approval and issuance of an encroachment agreement. Due to the many unknowns of specifics, scope and timing of dune restoration projects along the beach in Sea Pines, the Foundation is currently NOT issuing any encroachment agreements at this time.
