Parking during the Heritage:

Q: Will there be “General Spectator’ parking inside of Sea Pines?

A: No. There is no general spectator parking available in Sea Pines. General Parking is available at the Coastal Discovery Museum at Honey Horn: 70 Honey Horn Drive Hilton Head Island, SC 29926. Complimentary parking with motor coach service to and from Harbour Town Marina (approximately a 20-minute ride), 6:30 am–9:30 pm daily.

Official Tournament Shuttle from Coligny Beach parking lot is also available. Complimentary shuttles to a drop-off near Harbour Town, 6:30 am–9:30 pm daily. Bicycle parking is available in the Coligny Plaza area. Parking is first come first served.

Please note, a tournament ticket is not required to ride the Complimentary tournament shuttles/ buses.

Q: Can I (a Sea Pines property owner) call in a guest pass during the week of the RBC Heritage?

A: Yes. Property owners are permitted to call in guest passes during the week of the tournament. However, all property owner guests must park at your residence and will not be permitted to park along the shoulders of the roadways within the plantation or at the Trolley lots.

Q: Is there special parking available for Sea Pines Property Owners and relatives, who do not live in or around Harbour Town, during the tournament?

A: Yes. Parking is available at Trolley lot #1 and 2 (located off of Greenwood Drive) for those with the following decals: Property Owner Decal, Relative Decal, Long Term Renter Decal, short term weekly rental pass and Resort Guest Passes.

Passes purchased at the Sea Pines gate or Sea Pines Property Owner Guest Passes will not be permitted to park in Trolley lot #1 and 2. Once the lot is full, you will be directed to general parking outside the gate.

Restricted areas for vehicular traffic the Week of Heritage/ Hangtag Information

Q: Will there be restricted areas for vehicular traffic the Week of Heritage?
A: Yes, Security checkpoints will be place in various locations and will be up only during tournament play, starting at 6:00 am each day of the tournament, Monday, April 15th – Sunday, April 21st. Click here for a complete list of restricted roads. Security checkpoints will require the appropriate hangtag for that area to authorize access. Officers at the Security checkpoints will be checking hangtags throughout the week.

Q: If I live in the restricted area, how do I obtain a hangtag?
A: Hangtags are available from the CSA Security Administration Office, 175 Greenwood Drive. Each property within the restricted area is issued a certain number of hangtags. The number of hangtags issued varies depending upon the Sea Pines location. When picking up your hangtag, please be prepared to show your Property Owner ID card or Driver’s license. Q: As a Sea Pines Property Owner, can I have someone pick up my hangtag on my behalf?
A: Owners that are unable to physically come pick up their hangtags in person, can send someone else on their behalf as long as CSA Security Administration has received written permission in advance with the individual’s name. The agent collecting for you should have proper ID available when picking up your hangtags. This same procedure applies for those property owners renting short term (under six months). Written permission should be emailed to: adminoffice@seapinessecurity.com.

Q: I am a Sea Pines Property who rents my property out to a long-term renter (over 6 months). If my house is in the restricted area, can I collect a hangtag for my rental property?
A: No – the long term rental guest is authorized to collect the hangtag. In order to release the hangtag the long term rental guest will need to provide written permission to adminoffice@seapinessecurity.com to release the hangtag to the owner.

Biking During the Heritage:

Q: Can I ride my bike to the tournament?
A: Yes. Complimentary bicycle parking is available inside Sea Pines at the tennis courts next to the Harbour Town Golf Links Clubhouse parking lot and near the 13th green ( 16 Baynard Park Road). All cyclists must have a Tournament ticket or a volunteer badge to be admitted through the gates of Sea Pines. Cyclists may enter Sea Pines at the Ocean Gate on South Forest Beach Drive or at the Main Gate on Greenwood Drive. Click here for downloadable/printable directions. Bikers are responsible for locking their own bicycles and we ask that cyclist use caution while biking in the community.

Q: Can my guests who live outside of Sea Pines ride their bikes to the tournament?
A: Yes. All cyclists entering Sea Pines must have a valid Tournament ticket for that day or a volunteer badge to be admitted through the gates of Sea Pines. Cyclists may enter Sea Pines at the Ocean Gate on South Forest Beach Drive or at the Main Gate on Greenwood Drive.

Taking the Sea Pines Trolley:

Q: If I don’t ride my bike or walk to the tournament, is there other transportation available?
A: Yes. The Sea Pines Trolley will provide service during the week of the Heritage (Monday, April 15th – Sunday, April 21st): 8:00 am – 10:00 pm. Handicapped Parking Information:

Q: Is there Handicapped Parking available during the week of the tournament?
A: 
Handicapped Parking is available for spectators that are planning to attend the RBC Heritage Golf Tournament. Handicapped parking is located at lot #4 (opposite the CSA Building). The handicapped shuttle is an ADA approved wheelchair equipped bus that will transport spectators from Lot #4 to Harbour Town Clubhouse. **Handicapped hangtags are required to park in the handicapped parking lot. **

Q: How would I obtain a Handicapped Parking Lot Hangtag?
A: Hangtags for the Handicapped Parking Lot are available from the CSA Security administration staff located at 175 Greenwood Drive. The following information is needed: Driver’s License, Handicapped Placard and Tournament Ticket or ticket receipt. The handicapped individual must be present when picking up the hangtag. For information about Handicapped hangtags, contact the CSA Office: 843.671.1343. Hangtags cannot be distributed by mail.

Uber and Taxi Transportation Information:

Q: Can I take an Uber and Taxi transportation service into Sea Pines to the tournament?
A: Yes, however, please note, Uber and Taxi transportation will be restricted during tournament play, Monday – Sunday and the drop off and pick up locations will be at the Sea Pines Center (near the old bank). After tournament hours, taxi cabs and UBER will be able to pick up at locations around the Harbour Town Golf Links, once tournament play has officially ended for the day.

Q: If I am attending the tournament and I cannot get to the drop off point what should I do?
A: If spectators have trouble getting to the taxi pick up location due to excess luggage or inability to walk due to health issues, the Sea Pines Security Dispatch Office should be contacted in advance to request authorized access. Sea Pines Security Dispatch can be reached at: 843.671.7170.

Other

Q: Will Hilton Head Plantation residents that have reciprocal access be allowed to park inside Sea Pines during the tournament?
A: Hilton Head Plantation residents will not have reciprocal access to enter Sea Pines during the week of the tournament (April 15-21, 2019).

Q: Is “Will Call” still located in the parking lot of the Welcome Center?
A: No. Will call is located at the Ticket Office Trailer in the parking lot of Harbour Town Golf Links. Will Call is designed for last-minute ticket sales, ticket pick-up and redistribution of Tournament badges. A photo ID is required to pick up tickets. A ticket is not required to ride the tournament buses.

Q: Are there any construction or delivery restrictions during the week of the Heritage?
A. All construction activity within Sea Pines will be suspended during the week of the Heritage, this includes large truck deliveries. If you have questions or for special request please contact Sea Pines Security at 843.671.7170.

Q: I read that there will be a planned road closure of Baynard Cove Road from Plantation Drive to Turnberry Lane Wednesday, April 10 – Wednesday, April 24. Can you tell me more about this? 

A: The Television Compound for the 2019 RBC Heritage Golf Tournament will be located on Baynard Cove Road between Plantation Drive and Turnberry Lane. There is a planned road closure on Baynard Cove Road from Plantation Drive to Turnberry Lane Wednesday, April 10 – Wednesday, April 24 to facilitate this set up. Click here to view the map of the closure and read the full update from the Heritage Classic Foundation.
