Sea Pines Drive Infrastructure Improvement Project Update

Sea Pines Drive Infrastructure Improvement Project: South Sea Pines Drive from Merganser Court to the end of South Sea Pines Drive (stopping at the entrance of Lands End).

  • Milling operations (pictured) are currently underway. Leisure trail milling is scheduled for completion this week, while roadway milling will resume late next week, depending on weather conditions. Expect traffic delays, and if possible, please avoid the area.
  • Major construction is planned, which will involve single-lane road closures, leisure trail closures, and flagging operations. For safety reasons, bike riders must dismount and walk their bikes around active work zones.
  • Paving operations will begin the week of February 24th, weather permitting.

Wildlife Safety in Sea Pines

As we approach spring and temperatures rise, you may see an increase in wildlife activity around Sea Pines. Many animals are busy caring for their young or foraging for food to replenish their energy after the winter months. Be mindful of your surroundings and maintain a safe distance when observing wildlife.

Lagoon Tree Trimming: Next week, lagoon tree trimming will take place in the areas of Greenwood Forest, Like Oak Road, Red Maple Road, and Saint Andrews Place.

Stormwater Maintenance: Ditch clean out in select areas between Oak Court and Bateau Road will begin next week.
