Marsh Island Vehicular Bridge Rehabilitation Project

Repairing and replacing the decking and railings on the Marsh Island vehicular bridge on Pine Island Drive is now scheduled to begin the week of July 8th. Weather permitting, project work is expected to take approximately 4 weeks. Once completed, the railings will be painted.

  • Motorists should expect minor traffic delays.
  • Please use caution while driving in this area and observe the work zone speed limit.
  • For safety, cyclists will be required to dismount and walk bikes.

July 18, 2024 – Nearing Completion

Repairing and replacing the decking and railings on the Marsh Island vehicular bridge on Pine Island Drive is in progress and will continue through the end of next week.

July 25, 2024- Project Completed

The decking and railings on the Marsh Island vehicular bridge on Pine Island Drive needed to be repaired and replaced. The rehabilitation project was completed this week, and the vehicular bridge is open and available for use. Please see the before and after photos featured below.
