Paving on Pine Island Road to Start

The Fall season's paving will start on Wednesday, September 8th in the Pine Island Road area.  As always use caution when traveling in the work area.


Fly the Flag For Our Troops

The Sea Pines Country Club is asking all Sea Pines residents who live on the Club Course to fly your American flag on Friday, September 10th, so that it is visible from the golf course.

The United Way of the Lowcountry Day of Caring

The Turtles Are Hatching! Watch and Be Careful!


Check out this smart phone video taken Aug. 9 at the Sea Pines Beach Club beach:   Yertle the Turtle finding his way out to sea.   It illustrates just how difficult it is for new-born baby sea turtles and just how determined they are.  (Happy note:  this little guy made it!)

The Town of Hilton Head Island requires that lights on structures visible from the beach be shielded or turned off after 10 p.m. from May 1 to October 31Click here for more information and to find out what else you can do to help.

CSA & ASPPPO Boards Approve Rules and Regulations

The CSA and ASPPPO Boards have approved a comprehensive set of Rules and Regulations designed to promote and protect peaceful enjoyment of Sea Pines by owners and guests alike.  Separate documents have been created for Property Owners and Long--Term Renters, Short-Term Renters, Commercial Contractors and Bicycle Pathways..  Please click here to view them and remember, our primary objective is to improve the quality of the Sea Pines experience for us all.  Please abide by these common-sense rules!

Sea Pines Anglers Association Formed

A fishing group has been formed in Sea Pines.  Open to property owners, their family members and employees, this group will keep up on the fishing conditions in Sea Pines, work closely with the Forest Preserve Committee to assist with projects designed to enhance and improve the fish habitat in the Forest Preserve and create a great opportunity to tell "fish stories".  If you are interested in joining please contact George Barry at ghbarry21@aol.com.

Beaufort Jasper Active Adult Challenge looking for athletes

The Beaufort Jasper Active Adult Challenge is looking for adults 50 and older who are interested in competing in the BJAAC games scheduled for late October.  A wide variety of Olympic style events will be held all over Beaufort and Jasper Counties.  Official entry forms are available at www.BJAAC.org

2011 Forest Preserve Calendars Available

The 2011  Sea Pines Forest Preserve calendars are now on sale.  For $10 you get stunning Forest Preserve scenery, local tides and sunrise-sunset times.  Donations and proceeds from calendar sales allow us to stock the childrens' fishing lake, plant the Wildflower Field and maintain and enhance this unique Sea Pines' asset.
