Recycling is available at the Hilton Head Convenience Center, located on Dillon Road on the north end of Hilton Head Island.  Leaving Sea Pines through the main gate follow Business 278 past Port Royal Plantation.  Dillon Road is at the set of lights across from the entrance to Sams.  turn right and follow signs:

Open every day 7:00 a.m. tlo 7:00 p.m. except holidays.

What is accepted at the  Convenience Center:

• Bagged household garbage
• Bulky items -  furniture, toys and bulky household items
• Clear glass, k brown glass and green glass
• Aluminum and steel cans
• Plastic #1 and #2 (soda and water bottles, milk jugs, detergent bottles, etc.)
• Newspapers, magazines, cardboard, white office paper, pasteboard and mixed paper
• Tires, batteries, oil and appliances

Individual trash haulers will also arrange pickups for recyclable items.  Please check with your hauler.
